To further ease any concerns, we'd be happy to perform a patch test (free of charge) to lock in the formula for your perfect, custom to you, shade!

The days of orange spray tans are long gone, as long as you have a knowledgeable spray tan artist. Before we begin your service, our certified spray tan artist will ask a series of questions to ensure your tan is exactly what YOU want. Based on your answers, your skin tone, your skin undertone, the season, etc. your artist will mix a custom solution specific to you and your tan desires!

Preparing for a spray tan is key to ensuring you get the best results and a long-lasting, even color. Here are a few tips: Exfoliate your skin, shave or wax, clean your skin, wear loose, dark clothing, and arrive without makeup or jewelry. These reminders and other tips will be shared with you in more detail via email and/or text when you book an appointment!

Be comfortable! We highly recommend wearing dark, loose fitting clothing. TIGHT CLOTHING IS A NO-GO! (Yes, that includes bras!) Avoid wearing delicate intimates to your spray tan appointment as solution could stain lace and silk. Our solutions have been formulated to dry quickly and be transfer resistant to ensure as little transfer as possible. If you do see transfer onto your clothing, bed sheets, or other fabrics, our solutions are water-soluble are can be easily removed from most fabrics.

Your tan artist will get you acquainted with the space, give a brief overview of the standing positions, and have a quick, but thorough consultation about your spray tan goals. There are typically 5 factors that we take into consideration when mixing your custom color formula: skin tone, skin undertone, current season, your personal preferences, and your expectations. The artist will leave the room to mix your custom solution, giving you the opportunity to undress to your comfort level. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable during your service. Disposable underwear is provided, but you are welcome to wear your personal undergarments or a swimsuit! Know that we have seen bodies of all shapes and sizes and we are NEVER analyzing or judging your body. When your tan technician is spraying you, know that the focus is the spray patterns and ensuring that you are receiving a stunning, even tan! Many female clients choose to wear only a small pair of underwear to minimize tan lines and go braless. If you'd like to wear a pair of pasties, please be our guest. Male clients are welcome to wear a dark color swimsuit, shorts, or full coverage briefs. We offer items such as hair ties, claw clips, hair nets, nose plugs, barrier cream, and more to ensure you have everything you need to be spray tan ready! When you are ready, your artist will reenter the room and begin the spraying process while directing you on how to stand to ensure a consistent, perfect tan! Once fully sprayed, a short wait time (1-2 minutes) will be required to allow the tan time to dry. When you are dry, you'll dress in your dark, LOOSE clothing and exit the tanning room. Upon check out, you'll be given an after-care card for steps to follow to ensure you get the most out of your tan! After-care steps and maintenance tips can also be found on our blog!

Yes! It is imperative that the after-care procedures are followed to ensure your tan looks glowy and perfect for as long as possible! Avoid touching/rubbing skin as tan develops, choose warm showers over hot baths while tan, avoid swimming and hot tubs for 24 hours, use body wash and soaps designed for sunless tanned skin (NO Dove soap), and moisturize your body twice per day.

On average, spray tans will last 7-10 days. The longevity of your tan relies heavily on the prep before your spray tan and the maintenance post tan. Check out our blog posts for more details on pre-tan prep and post-tan maintenance!

Yes! A few important and surprising ones are listed include: Pre-care & after-care routines, your menstrual cycle, dehydration, topical acne treatments, and hair dye/bleach.

Spray tanning formulas do NOT contain SPF, therefore, they do not protect your skin from the sun. Protective measures such as applying sunscreen, wearing protective clothing and a hat, and seeking shade during peak sun hours should still be followed, even with a spray tan. Suggested sunscreens that are great for protecting your skin, but are also gentle on your spray tan include Sunbum, Coola, and Australian Gold Botanical.

Yes! While we are happy to provide tanning services to individuals of all ages, anyone younger than 18 MUST have a parent present.

There have not been any studies done on the inhalation of the spray and pregnant women, we recommend consulting with your doctor before visiting us for a spray tan. We are happy to provide a list of the ingredients used in our formulas for their review. Lastly, our spray tan studio is well-ventilated and designed to eliminate overspray. Additionally, we offer nose filters to limit the amount of spray inhaled. Please let your tan technician know if you are pregnant or would liek to use any protective gear.
